And…the IBAT tool in the list above is marked as included the L of LEAP (i.e. locate the entities’ interface with nature) rather than the E (evaluating impacts and dependencies) is this because the databases it draws from are primarily spatial (e.g., KBA and Protected Areas databases) overlaid with distribution of threatened species in these locations? The module content says that IBAT (like the BFFI) focuses on decisions made by financial/business entities may impact on nature, this is primarily through mapping business operations or financial investments against locations of high biodiversity importance. So why is IBAT only L from LEAP, rather than L and E? A little confused by this!
