Learn how to design innovative, unique, authentic, sustainable, and market-oriented ecotourism products, following the Mediterranean Experience of Ecotourism (MEET) product criteria.
About this course
To secure a form of sustainable and low-impact tourism that is compatible with the conservation and sustainable development goals in the Mediterranean region, we need a robust approach to the design of ecotourism products.
This course will provide guiding principles for creating innovative, unique, authentic and market-oriented products that can be applied across the geographically heterogeneous region.
Specific Mediterranean Experience of Ecotourism (MEET) product criteria will assist participants in assessing their own region and ultimately selecting appropriate components for an ecotourism package.
